This feature focuses on the challenges and achievements of Canadian Paralympian, Marissa Papaconstantinou. She speaks about her injury in 2017, inspiring individuals in her life, and how para-athletics have changed her life.
Topics of philanthropy and working to become a role model for other young athletes are also mentioned, and Marissa’s high school media teacher, Andrew Graham brings his perspective to the table. He speaks to her leadership in high school, and how the school was positively impacted by her attendance.
